With a capacity of 24 kW, the surplus energy is stored in a storage system or used for heat production. To conserve energy all new windows are triple-glazed and are double-glazed in the existing building.

The lake on the banks of the hotel is renowned to be one of the cleanest bathing lakes in Italy. In the colder months enjoy ice skating or even play curling on the frozen lake.

Need to Know
The WiFi is thoughtfully turned off at 22.00, this is to avoid digital waves disturbing a peaceful night’s sleep.
Deliberate reduction is the best way to describe the hotel’s approach. So, don’t expect lots of bells and whistles in your hotel room. Simplicity helps clear the mind and create clarity.
Don’t forget to pack your sunglasses. It’s claimed that the South Tyrol region enjoys on average 300 sunny days a year!

Location
Located in Renon, Hotel Weihrerhof sits amongst the mountains and on a lake, an ideal location to explore the Dolomites and Isarco Valley. From the hotel, you can reach Bozen (Bolzano), the province capital, in 15 minutes by cable car.
How to get there
By train is best: You have the option of taking the train to Bolzano and then a cable car to Oberbozen, where the hotel will pick them up FREE of charge.
By plane, if you must: The closest airport is Bolzano, which is a 30-minute drive away.
By car or taxi: After Auna di Sotto, turn left at the Soprabolzano/Costalovara crossroads. After approx. 2.5 km you will reach the Lago di Costalovara. Proceed alongside the lake to the end, then turn left on a road that leads to the Weihrerhof (well indicated).

These products are made with water from the lake you'll be visiting. These products are produced by a local manufacturer Team Dr. Joseph plastic-free and are refillable. The hotel cleans with 100% chemical-free dry steam. This means no need for cleaning agents, it do not waste water and, it also protects the health of the employees.
